Why Use Sulphate of Iron

• Used in turf culture as a moss-killing agent.
• A source of iron, ideal for blending with other fertiliser products.
• Market gardeners often include this in mixes as it enhances the green colour in plant leaves​

To use safely to kill or control moss in your lawn iron sulphate should be used at a rate of 4 or 5 grams per square metre. Simply dilute the sulphate in lukewarm water.  Or you can sprinkle directly on the affected areas.

Avoid fertiliser contacting paths, hard surfaces and driveways and the iron sulphate may discolour these surfaces.
